Should iOS have it's own forum with iOS6, iOS5, iOS4, etc being subforums? Much like how the OSX forums are on this site? Currently, iOS6 and iOS5 are each their own forum.

Just an observation I had that seems a little inconsistent

Would also be nice to have a sub forum for older os's on both ios and osx if people had questions on them (osx forums only go back to 10.7 for instance)

I agree on the older then OS X lion forums bought back.

I can see a "Legacy iOS" and a "Legacy Mac OS X", but one for each? That's a lot of new forums, and a lot of work to separate the threads into where they belong.

It's being discussed, along with a few other tweaks.

Remember, it was only brought up in June, we're still in the part of the year where people take vacations, so discussion can take a little longer, and any changes to structure have consequences for other things that also need to be considered before anything is done.

Soon as you put the term "legacy OS" as a forum you're going to have a bunch of PPC people posting in it. Then what happens to the PPC forums ?

Well right now, there is no place to talk about 10.6 and ios 4, both of which, many people are still using

Th PPC forum pertains to HW devices, not SW to my understanding
