I got bored and thought I would play around with whatever few iOS apps were opted in for Mac M1, but in the App Store, I see the option is not even enabled anymore to select iOS apps. I know Apple blocked (sort of) sideloaded apps, but what about iOS apps in the Mac apps store? Has Apple disabled the feature completely now?

Oops, never mind, it's back now, But it was gone earlier. Weird.

I can only see that option for apps I’ve purchased. Ooops scratch that, I can see it for others too now.

How do you find those apps, anyway? I see in the Discover tab there's a "great iphone and ipad apps", which brings up a list of.. 47 apps. None of which I'm interested in. IS that all there is? Are there more? Do I just have to search and select the "iphone and ipad apps" tab for the search results, in other words not browsing for apps but search only?

I've also noticed this... Some apps that crossed my mind are not available for download on macOS on an M1 Macbook, and those offered ones I'm not interested in. Might look into sideloading if possible.

Do you guys have any suggestions for iPad or iOS apps that are useful and work well on macOS?

The only one I use regularly is Overcast podcast app. It works almost exactly like a Mac app with a few minor twists (for example when you click on a link, it opens an unneeded intermediate window in the background that you have to manually close.)
