The artwork is there for the overall TV show, but not for each episode. For music videos there is no artwork at all.
My music videos in iTunes have the album cover/single cover embedded in.
Using iPhone 6 Plus and iTunes 11.4 on an OS X 10.9.5 Mac Mini. Happened on iOS 8.0 and 8.0.2.
I've tried deleting the art from one of the videos, and adding different art, and resyncing, still didn't show up.
