first off, if the mods think this thread belongs to a better one, please move it.

i guess, we here on macrumors have seen the IOS demos that apple does on their public presentations.

i am talking about the IOS demos. how does apple do the live demos? when they move the IOS device to landscape mode and the image on the screen also changes to landscape. not to mention the live videos and movements etc.

are they using an app for that? if so, which one?
 
They use a special build of keynote. For the phone they're either using HDMI out, or - like the 2007 presentation - a specially built phone with video out. You're not going to be able to get hold of what they use to present. :(
