iOS devices not showing up in finder when unplugged (Wi-Fi mode)

Since 10.15.1, all my iOS devices won't show up in Finder when I unplug them and are on the "Wi-Fi" mode. I check the option to be able to see them when in Wi-Fi, it worked fine in the past, but now nothing will show until I plug them in my iMac directly.

The Wi-Fi itself seems to work properly. Any help?

I have no help to offer but this feature never worked consistently for me since I started using macOS with Mavericks. I gave up on it since it was completely unreliable. I assume Apple just doesn’t care much about the people who manually sync and backup their devices.
