So I got a new laptop on Friday and part of setting it up meant transferring all of my music from my old laptop to my new one. I am not sure if this has anything to do with what is going on right now but the issue seems to coincide with my setting up my new laptop.

Anyways, I am using an iPhone 6 and an iPad Mini 2 both on 9.2.1. For the past few days they have both been attempting to download my 117gb iCloud Music Library until space runs out at which point they start freezing and becoming unusable.

I have turned iCloud Drive off, I have turned iCloud Music Library off, and I have turned all Auto-downloads off. Nothing seems to stop my devices from trying to grab over 10,000 songs from the cloud.

Anyone have any suggestions. I would really appreciate any help that's out there.

Thanks!

Setting -> itunes&app store -> turn auto downloads off

perform a cold restart (keep home and on/off button pushed until device turns off and on)

sign out of your apple id and then sign in again - on both the laptop and the ios devices

call apple care
