So with 26, we now have fully independent Phone apps on iPad and MacOS instead of operating through Facetime. We also have some specific settings and now I'm wondering how those like call screening might interplay since settings on each device are independent. Maybe someone has done some testing?

Example, if I have Screen Unknown Callers enabled on iPhone but not on other devices...what happens? Do my other devices sit there and keep ringing while the iPhone is trying to screen the call? Since the call screening is done on device and technically the call has been answered by the device...is it first come first serve what device picks up the call to process the screening?

What if call screening is only turned on on the iPhone...how would I ever have a chance to take the call on any other device? Would I be left scrambling to find my iPhone?

I've been confused by the thought of how these features might interplay with one another and don't have a second phone around to just play around and test with.

I'm wondering the same thing. I feel like it should be a setting that syncs across devices, or be an iPhone-only feature.

What if you're at work and your iPad is at home and ends up answering/screening a call (via Wi-Fi calling)? Does the transcription only appear on the iPad, or all devices?

What if you happen to have a contact on your iPhone but not on your iPad? Is the iPhone not going to ring because the iPad will end up answering/screening the call?
