iOS is so white that you can hardly tell when it's set to greyscale unless you're on the home screen.
 
If you go into accessibility settings in iOS 8, you can change it to 'black and white' or, greyscale. It's just crazy that, with the amount of white in iOS 7/8, there are many times you wouldn't even know colors were disabled. The point of the post was merely to see what other people thought.
