Recently, I noticed when I'm on my PC and typing up an email in Outlook, my iPhone mail app notification sounds, and shows a preview of the email I'm sending on the lock screen. I swear this never used to happen in older iOS versions, and the only previews I received for mail were the incoming emails I was receiving. I asked a friend, and he said he's not having that issue.

It's annoying that any time I'm typing an email, the mail notification goes off on my phone. Is there a setting to disable this? I couldn't seem to find anything online or in the settings of the phone. Thanks!

Hosted on outlook 365.

I've got an Office 365 account and saving a draft in Mac Mail or at the Outlook 365 web portal doesn't make a notification occur on my iPhone 6 running iOS 11.1.1. We do have one account using MS Outlook 2010 on a Windows 7 machine and I haven't seen it happen but can't confirm yes or no on that.

You could log into the web portal for Office 365, save a draft and see what happens. If nothing, that would indicate the connection is with your particular PC/Outlook situation and you can compare your configuration with your friend's if he is also with your company.

Pretty sure there's not a setting in iOS that is making this happen.
