iOS 16.1.1. Noticed recently, though unclear when it started, that when receiving email, I am not hearing my set notification sound+vibration.

However, when I delete the message, the new email sound plays upon delete.

Have tried disabling/reenabling notifications, sounds, ensuring the "remind me" settings are set appropriately, restarting, hard restarting, all to no avail. There is no Focus mode set.

This was not an issue on the first point release or so of iOS 16. Not sure why it's happening now.

Any input welcome.

Attempting to troubleshoot, I noticed that even though under Customize Notifications, the same notification settings are present for that email account and "favorite mailboxes", notifications were not sounding. However, when I go to mailboxes, edit, and remove my inbox as a favorite Folder (making the checkmark gray, not blue), notifications play as expected and no longer just play when I delete an unread message(!). What am I missing?
