Hi community,
I have a terribly annoying issue which prevents me from doing my work efficiently.
My problem is that I am using the Notes app on my iOS devices (iPhone and iPad, both running the latest iOS versions) and I have all these notes stored in different folders inside the Notes app.
My problem is that when I create such a folder on one of my iOS devices, this new folder won't show up in the Notes app on my Mac. The notes inside that folder will just be located in the common universal folder, where all notes are stored.
Now I thought that one of the possible issues could be that I have High Sierra installed on my Mac. It's a Mid 2010 12-Core Mac Pro and I can not upgrade to Mojave, at least not "officially". I hope that this isn't the reason for this problem.
This is extremely annoying, and proves once more that Apple devices simply aren't made for professionals anymore (and please note that my first Apple device was the Macintosh Classic, so there's quite some time that has passed since). You just can not rely on these devices in crucial situations, unless you spend hours and hours to constantly set up things, fix problems, understand issues, etc.
I have important meetings with important notes stored in specific places, just to find out they're not where I expect them to be in the decisive moments.
Things like these should work without us ever having to spend *any* amount of time on it, because any amount of time spent on that is wasted time. I mean come on, it's just some damn notes, this is the most basic thing ever! This is as if a car manufacturer was selling cars without handbrake. It is pure shame. Apple has mutated to a company producing expensive low-end products for some sort of pseudo-liberal wanna-be-intellectuals with no brain.
Anyway, if anyone had this issue before and knows a solution or trick, I'd be very thankful! And let's hope Apple's clients start to raise their expectations soon, or the quality will just get worse and worse with every additional year.
Peace!
