iPhone iOS on phones in Apple Store

So which iOS do you think is on 6Plus 128GB in Apple stores? 8.1.2? I'm finally available to get a work discount and someone wants me to pick one up if it's jailbreakable.

I realize if it doesn't have 8.1.2 on it, I have 14 days to return but I'd hate to waste a trip to the store.

They all have 8.2 at this point. I got a 6 the day after it 8.1.3 was released and it was already updated.

My wife got a 6+ from Costco about 2 weeks ago and it had 8.1.3 on there.

It must depend on when the iPhone's were shipped to the  store and the current iOS release at the time of testing them before being sealed in the box.

Given the high turnaround of iPhones, it'll have at least 8.1.3, unless you're VERY lucky.

I got a replacement 6 (I know the question was about 6+) 128gb (AT&T) replacement at the Apple Store on 3/16 and it was on 8.1.2

This wasn't a new phone, but a replacement from behind the genius bar so IDK what your chances will be with buying a device new... although the 128gb phones are in less heavy demand than the 64gb versions so you may still be lucky.

I'd say go for it and if you get one thats got too new of an iOS version than return it...
