iOS Outlook App - Cannot Use Deleted Items Folder as Trash

When I hit the trash icon in Outlook for iOS, I'm asked to select a folder. When I select Deleted Items, I receive an error message that reads "Retry Later: Couldn't configure the folder. Please check your internet connection and try again."

My other accounts (Outlook, Gmail, 2 work exchange accounts) work just fine with the trash icon.

Hoping somebody has info on how to fix this.
