iOS photo with filters have no filter in iLife 9.4

I took a photo with a iPhone 5S which had a filter effect.

Open iPhoto 9.4 and look at the PhotoStream, *boom* no filter on the image!

Also an image taken in burst mode only shows 1 of the numerous taken.

I assume you need Mavericks and/or iPhoto 9.5

Anyone else spotted or know the reason for this?

Yes, the filters issue is listed right in the release notes for iPhoto 9.5.
