Hi All,

I upgraded to an iPhone X from my 6S. My 6S was still running iOS 9. I performed an encrypted itunes backup and restored it onto my X.

Everything seems fine except the "People" album. It kept telling me that face detection would continue when my phone was locked and powered. But no matter how long I left it, nothing happened (its powered every night really). As a test, I swiped up on a photo with a face and tapped the face that was showing. I then manually added it to the People album thinking it might kick start it, but it didn't.

I then removed the face I added, again hoping it might start something, but again nothing started.

I then took a selfie and immediately I was added to the people album along with all other photos of me. I thought maybe it was fixed but its still just myself in there. Its as if it thinks its scannned the photos already.

Is there a way to start the process again? I don't use icloud photos, all are stored on my device.

Thanks

Graham
