I created 3 shortcuts for my AirPods Pro Gen2 that I use for the gym (Gym APPG2). The shortcuts are placed in control center so I can easily turn noise cancelling on, transparency on, and noise cancelling off. The problem is that they are mapped to only that particular pair of AirPods.

I just happened to be using my second pair of AirPods Pro Gen2 that I use with my AppleTV and I noticed that the shortcuts were not working. The only solution to this was to edit the shortcut and instead of selecting a particular route (Gym APPG2), select "Ask every time."

Is there a way to set the shortcuts to work for any AirPods I have connected to my iPhone and not a specific pair? I mean automatically, not having to select a device every time?

All three settings you aim for are already in the control Center behind the volume slider. Why go through the hassle with the shortcuts ?

Because the hidden menus take too long to access. First you have to hold down on the volume slider, then click on Noise Control and then select the noise mode that you want. I don't want to do these two extra steps.

With my solution, I have 3 different buttons in my Control Center and all I have to do is press 1 of the 3 buttons to enter the mode that I want.
