Hey my buddy and I are about to make a dive into iOS dev. One thing we were wondering is does apple offer any kind of 50/50 split with ernings and would they deposit into 2 different accounts, or do we need to open up a business account and pay ourselves out of that? I only ask as he lives in new York and I live in Maine so it's kind of hard for both of us to get together at the same bank to set up a new accoun.

iTunes connect allows multiple bank accounts, hope this helps you!

You can list multiple bank accounts, but I'm pretty sure that you can only have one active account that receives the money from Apple.

The money from an app's sales currently pays into one account. So you'd either have to set up a shared business account, or just let Apple deposit to one party's account and have that person transfer or write a check for 50% to the other party. If you both have access as financial agents on the developer account, you can both check the financial reports to see what the proper amounts should be.
