Hi, I'm considering upgrading a soon-to-be-unused iMac to Lion Server for the sole purpose of using it to serve software updates to our family's various Apple devices
We have fairly slow broadband and software updates are a pain for 3 macs, 2 iPod touches, 2 iPhones, and an iPad.
I think I understand how to set up unmanaged macs to use the Server for Mac software updates, but not sure if iOS updates are also in scope of Lion Server. Does any one have any experience with this?
Now that I think about it, incremental over-the-air iOS updates are less of a problem than the full/large updates that were more frequent prior to iOS 5, but I'm still curious.
Thank you
