I need to convert some .mp4 video to be able to play it on an iPad, and would appreciate some advice on which software to use (OS X).
Googling iOS video converter gives me a huge number of choices, so some pointing in the right direction (free if possible, or good value for money) would be excellent!
I think I recall reading a couple of months ago about a new iOS app, that would do the conversion on the device itself? Not entirely sure...
Thanks in advance!

Never mind, for some reason thought .mp4 wouldn't play, but was able to transfer to iTunes and sync to iPad with no issues!

Absolutely true, and I use Handbrake as well but with this you just drag it on the app and it converts and transfers it straight away which I find very convenient. (And no, I have no connections with this company at all! :p)
