iPod touch iOS won't downgrade

My iPod is running 4.3.2 but i want 4.2.1.
I have iPod4,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw downloaded
My host file reads as follows

My iPod is showing a black screen and is unresponsive to turning on (So DFU mode?)

But when I go into itunes and select Shift+Restore and then the 4.2.1 IPSW if get error 3194

What am i doing wrong?

Did you have 4.2.1 jail broken and saved your shsh blobs in Cydia?
