iOS10 and twitter issue that a friend of mine has and needs help to fix

A friend of mine has an issue with iOS10 and twitter. Here is what she says her issue is:

Well I get push notifications from multiple Twitter accounts. If I go to my notification center and click on one to open it all the others no matter how numerous or old they vanish
I'm on a 6s plus and on iOS 10.3.2

I want my unread notifications to stay in the center when I open one of them​

Can anything be done about this so this issue can be fixed?
