IOS11 App Store - incorrect update count

iPad Pro 10.5 running latest release of IOS11... App Store shows "n" number of updates available, but when I click on it, there are no apps listed to update. I have to close the App Store and re-open it for the app updates to be displayed.

Is this a known issue?
