Hi!
I would like to install the public beta on my iPhone, but not the High Sierra on my Mac. My question is what will happen with the photos/videos taken with the iPhone when sync to my Mac (I don’t use iCloud Photo Library).
Will the photos be converted to standard jpeg when syncing with my Mac? Moreover, in the future when I will update to High Sierra will the jpg photos (that are hevc/heif in my iPhone) be converted to the new format?

I know that iCloud Photo Library photos sync to your Mac as HEIF but not sure about manually importing them.

If manually importing imports HEIF you can always force your camera to shoot as JPEG for the time being.
