iOS16 AOD Display Widget Wish

Am I the only one who wishes one of the AOD widgets was a Text Message Icon so you can see if you have a text without turning on the screen?

I know at the bottom it will say NEW NOTIFICATIONS but that can be for calls, or anything your phone notifies you for. I wish we could customize it a tad more.

Yes like Android has, what I do most the time is use a black font for the clock and then the only thing that shows up in AOD mode is new notifications.

I disabled the wallpaper for AOD so just the widgets and time show but still wish one of the widgets could be specific for what type of notification

Yea I do too, there’s SOOOO much Apple could do with AOD on an OLED screen. There’s so many cool tweaks for them on Cydia, it’s a shame Apple has their software so locked down.

A little green message bubble with a number next to it somewhere on the screen would be so simple and easy.
