ios17 calls wrong number for contact

Since updating to iOS 17.0.1 I have noticed that when using Siri to call a contact (via Carplay or Siri on phone) even if you specify "Call xxxx home" it will respond with "Calling xxxx mobile" and dial the mobile number even though you specified use the home number.
Has anyone else spotted this weirdness or got any suggested fixes as I'm currently having to voice dial some numbers from memory!

I don’t know anyone with a “home” number anymore 🤔

You might try changing a contact number’s “type”, see if (a) that fixes the problem or (b) you’re able to identify exactly which number “types” are affected.
