iOS4.3 shipping with iPad2?

Is it known that the iPad2 will ship with iOS4.3?

My one question is why would the home screen button be left on the iPad2? Doesn't 4.3 make it obsolete? (hand motions/swipes will be used to bring up multitasking and close out/switch applications).
Is it just so there are more 'options' ... like touchscreen phones that have trackpads as well?

Release versions of 4.3 won't have any extra gestures implemented: they are there in the beta for debs to test their apps but Apple have said they won't be in the final release.
