iOS4 and Web Clips

I haven't come across any posts talking about this so I must be doing something wrong with bookmarking websites. I have been unable to get web clips to work. I hope I am using the right word for that. It's basically when you bookmark a site while using Safari in iOS4 on the new iPhone and save the bookmark to the home screen. I can't get the site to launch by hitting the icon that process creates.

I know I must be missing something really simple here.

bumping this...been trying to figure this out too. i can no longer launch web clips from the IOS4 home screen, either from a folder or directly. is this a bug? or part of a master plan to keep you in apps (and not safari).

so i just restarted my phone for the first time since i got it a week ago, and now the web clips work.

I can't believe I forgot to try the old reboot.
