iOS4- Improved Visuals?

I have a iPhone 3G so I basically get crap with this new update.

However, maybe it's just me, doesn't the screen look a lot sharper?

Everything seems way clearer, and a little smaller, but it looks better then before.

Yes. I noticed this when the GM of iOS 4.0 leaked. It's a welcome improvement to the screen. It's almost like Microsoft's ClearType treatment was given to the text on the home screen.

I think the first thing I noticed is that when charging, the green battery at the lock screen was smaller. Then when I unlocked it everything seemed much more clear and glossier.

It's cause Apple revised the app icons giving it more detail.

the non camera roll pics on my 3GS are all blurry...I'm assuming I'll have to resync them at my home PC?

I had to resync to get the pictures to not be blurry.
