First:

I don't know about others, but I have never synchronized my book marks between my Mac and my iPhone.

I always had two sets of book marks, because the ones on the iPhone I had always bookmarked mobile versions of websites, or websites that worked well with the iPhone and not those that did not.

Well mobile Safari is finally good enough that today I enabled bookmark syncing.

Mobile safari is the first mobile browser I have used on any platform with the exception of chrome on the recent Evo, that actually renders pages over 3G fast enough not to make me scream.

Second: It was a VERY long wait for multitasking, but I think it was worth it. Just like cut-copy-paste, it is worth waiting for apple to take their time and implement a feature properly.

I have had all sorts of music and GPS apps multitasking and not a hint of a hit on battery life.

Every other platform I have used, multitasking means dead batteries. Even the Sprint Evo. Run GPS in the background on the Evo and you are looking for a power outlet in 4 hours.
