iOS4 on an iPhone 2g?

Hey, any chance that some brilliant hacker will be able to port iOS4 down to the iPhone 2G? I hear that the 2G and 3G are basically the same phone, down to the same memory and processor.

No. And the iPhone 3G and iPhone original are not the same phone - they are VERY VERY different.

Considering they were able to port android to the 2g and that wasnt even optimized for an iPhone, I would say yes its possible but I doubt it would be a top priority for most people.
