The possibility already exists for third party apps to access the calendar information correct? I know I have had apps on my phone that pull calendar data automatically...

With the release of iOS5, I found a new app on the app store that will automatically change lock screen wallpapers (you can set a photo album and it will automatically cycle through wallpapers on a set interval which you set in the app's settings) So now, third party apps DO have the ability to automatically set wallpaper.

There already exist apps in the app store where the user has to manually input todo items or calendar items and weather location, and then the app generates a wallpaper which you must manually save to the camera roll and then also manually set as wallpaper. This was hugely tedious because the time it took, you could have visited the todo app, the calendar app, and the weather app to see all the info. The other problem with this method is that the 'current' temperature data would have been out of date an hour after you set your wallpaper making it necessary to generate a new one to keep the weather up to date.

Well, now I am wondering with the ability to access the calendar, reminders, and third party weather, and also the new iOS5 added capability of third party apps to be able to automatically generate and set new wallpapers.... could someone come up with a non JB Lock Info substitute (for some people who never JB it might be a viable solution for good, but for me it would be a tide me over until the JB release).

Is this even possible?? (If so, it might be VERY popular on the App Store - wish I could code LOL)

One app that actually displays the data in a decent way is LockScreen (+Todo and weather) but its all manual as stated above.

Can you tell I am really missing Lock Info!! :(
