Hello,

Anyone got lucky setting up s/mime on iOS5? I have s/mime cert in my keychain, it's synchronized vis MobileMe, and in settings i still got "No valid certs were found".

Mail App signs and encrypts all mail as expected.

Seemes like keychain is not synced right to iOS5 yet...

Try the iPhone Configuration Utility?

I wonder if the DoD will be using iPhones/iPads with their exchange servers. Our emails use a CAC card to read the certificates off of.

i think certs should be synced via keychain (MobileMe or iCloud) - mine are in MM becouse i do not have Lion. So maybe the reason is that they ougt to be loaded via iCloud. Actually i can't find any docs in dev center to get answer on that :/

thanks a lot!

never played with config utility before - does uploading overwrite other settings if they are left without configuration? I want just to upload cert.

If you leave the settings as "not configured" it won't affect other settings in your device.
