Hi guys, I just installed the iOS5 beta and noticed that none of my email is showing up in the notification center or on the lock screen. I made sure that they are enabled in the settings. Anyone else having any issues or a resolution?

I have an original iPad running the ios5 beta. My gmail set up via the exchange option in the mail settings does not show up in the notification center. However, my @me.com account that I just set up yesterday through Icloud does work with the notification center.

I too have the mail setting enabled in the notification center settings.

That is pretty lame if it only works for a @me.com account. I was under the assumption it would work for all Mail accounts.

Strange, I have a Gmail account set up via the exchange option and notifications show up fine.

I've got Exchange, GMail and MobileMe accounts and they all show in the lock screen. However, it did take a while before they started showing up. Not sure why (apart from the obvious "it's a bets"), but once they started, they have worked perfectly

Same here. Neither my Exchange nor Gmail accounts (or anything for that matter) is showing up in the lock screen.

My work exchange and Gmail exchange all show up fine.

Keep in mind it will only show those emails you got while not on the springboard.

Yeah they still don't show up on my lockscreen. They don't show up as banners either. I will try rebooting my device and see if that helps...

Something I caught from the Keynote was "Anything that uses a push notification will show here" so maybe the mail acct. must use push.

By default, mail notification do not show on the lock screen or as banners, you must go in to settings and enable them

Settings > Notifications > Mail > Then choose "Banners" as the alert style.

Also toggle the "View in Lock Screen" to "ON" if you want it to show there.

I had done this but it didn't help. They only started working after I rebooted my phone.

Hasn't been working for me, either - even when I've rebooted.

I'm on a 3GS, with Mail, Messages, Calendar etc. all enabled for lock screen - and banner. I can see 12 unread messages on my Mail icon, but nothing on the lock screen or notifications screen (I disabled Weather and Stocks).

Grr.

Edit: OK, it's just come through now, after about a 5 minute wait. Phew. Though not on the lockscreen yet. But I'm hopeful...

x2 on rebooting; After enabling it in settings I had to reboot two of the phones I'm testing to get the mail notifications to show up.
