IOS5 on iPhone and ICloud question

Firstly sorry for not posting in the IOS section but i was not allowed,
Now the question i have, that I'm sure you lovely people will be able to answer is:
As iCloud is coming out within the next few hours, will it be possible to get some sort of @mac or @icloud email etc ? I ask this purely because i know with MobileMe people got these, and i would be interested in having one.
Hope someone can answer, thanks in advance

You can create a @me.com address.

An iCloud account is just your Apple ID (wether it be @yahoo, @gmail, @hotmail etc...) but you can create a new @me account to use as an email account if you want to ditch your old @whatever accounts.

But unfortunately to your question, you can not get an @mac or @icloud account, only @me

When you update to iOS 5, you will be given the opportunity to create a new me.com email address from your iOS device if that's what you want to do.
