Has anyone done the iOS6 update on an iPhone 4? Can you report in on speed of the operating system?

I still get nervous about updating to a brand new iOS, after bricking my 3G with the iOS4 update.

Thanks!
Jared

It sucks.
It hiccups very often and is definitely not as liquid is previously.
Honestly, I wish I can go back to iOS4.

Its running nice and smooth on my iPhone 4. Only issue is battery life seems to be not so great. Anyone else running it on a iPhone 4 having battery life issues?

I've been using it since beta 3 and it's progressed a lot since them. Realistically speaking, I can say I'm getting better battery life on iOS 6 than 5.1.1.

iOS6 on iphone 4S - Bricked

I attempted to upgrade my 4S on 5.1.1 to 6 yesterday. It only worked halfway and left my iphone bricked. I do have a back up on iCloud, but hand't done it for 6 months, so I did get all my contacts, but lost about 700 pictures that were on photostream.

Anyway, I just did a fresh backup and will try again today, maybe.

Runs fine on my iPhone4. Been running it since beta 1 was released.

No 'hiccups', and is ever faster with the main stock apps. I have no complaints.

Unless you have them in the cloud. You might lose them.

Had the GM build running since last week on my iPhone 4. Zero problems thus far and seems quite snappy too.

pictures on ipad gone after restart

I restarted a nearly bricked ipad, and afterwards, all the pictures were gone.

i have 2 iphones 4 and looks like they are running pretty well after clean install. UI becomes a little bit smoother and quicker, but battery dying faster thats for sure
