I have iPhone 5S & very often this happens to my lock screen, I did everything possible to fix it, even a full restore. Ugh am I the only one, or is this a common thing?

It looks like a iPad size keyboard on a iPhone screen

Is zoom on?

Nope, I don't use any of the accessibility's,
Maybe it has to do with touch iD?

----------

I have a long password, maybe I should you a simple 4 number one then, but that's still a bug apple should FIX

Had exact same issue a few times on a BRAND NEW phone. Although I haven't seen it since restoring from a backup.

Wow that is weird.

Call Apple or go to the Genius Bar. Something's not right, and it might have to do with hardware.

Is it on a 5 or 5s. I have the same issue on my 5s. It seems to only happen when I have it in my pants pocket. If I have it in my coat pocket or anything like that, it seems to be fine.

Maybe it has to do with body temp and the ring sensor?

I have a 5S,

I've seen it on my 5s in the week I've had it

It has to be a bug/glitch, I'm only hoping, apple knows about it, I really hate using a simple password. I prefer a longer one, because I just use touch id, haha it just feels more secure.

Mine's a 5S running 7.0.2 on Verizon. I have Touch ID and a long passcode. This screen shows up once in a while if you:

1. Click the Wake/Sleep button to look at your lock screen
2. Click once on the Home button, but don't leave you finger on it to unlock

I'm not too bothered. iOS 7 in general seems a little unfinished so I'll chalk this up to just another instance of lack of polish. At this point, 6 years in, with the team on a tight schedule every year to ship by a certain date, and with all kinds of features (that weren't originally anticipated) tacked on, the underlying codebase is probably looking a little bloated. When you're under the gun you probably don't take the time to carefully refactor all the interfaces/classes/methods. Plus there are so many more devices to regression test for. On top of that there's the whole retargeting to 64-bit.

Looks like there's some bug in your iOS 7 that's telling it to show the landscape keyboard even though you're in portrait orientation. I've never had that issue on my 5s.

I had this issue with my 4S on 7.0.2 and also on 7.0.3

This lockscreen keyboard issue occurrs when:
- simple pass code off
- do not unlock phone. Swipe up bottom right corner to take photo
- take photo in landscape orientation
- lock phone
- try to unlock phone
- keyboard is stuck in landscape orientation (from when you took the photo)
