iPhione 5 with iOS7.1

I can connect via USB, the battery does charge and I can access photos, etc., including office documents held in FileManager or QuickOffice on the iPhone.
A know iOS7 bug exists, which is nagging to trust the computer. This nagging happens every few seconds and I have installed the latest LIBIMOBILEDEVICE in Linux, yet the bug remains even after a reboot.
This really is not important to me yet it would be nice to fix it anyhow. If I haven not learned today, I did not live today .
