iPhone iOS8 Beta2: Battery drains until dead?

I know people are talking about battery life on the beta.
But I have two devices that went completely dead after having run iOS8 beta2.

Please participate, I'd like to know if this beta killed your phone, not just reduced battery life.

Symptoms: Black screen, unable to be switched on, battery symbol shows for one hour while using a wall charger.

Yes!
I'm having the same problem as mentioned in another thread...

Black screen, charger won't charge, iTunes won't identify iPhone, and the worst thing, because my lock button is broken, i can't even hard reset!

Only after an hour or so like u said, the charger started working and shown me that the battery was dead...
