Does the GM have any problems with iCloud / iCloud drive? Will everything back up / restore as per usual (I know the Betas had problems)

I haven't seen any feedback (yet) on this issue. I would hold off until we a good bit more feedback.

Also, for those who have upgraded to iOS 8 GM, what happened with iCloud photo library and photo stream? Did photo stream disappear, or are both options still there?

Both still there. iCloud Photo Library says (Beta) now. Probably til early 2015 when the OS X piece is ready
