I read that if you delete a photo from a device then it is deleted from ALL devices attached to your iCloud account.

I have tested this and it does not work.

If I take a photo on my iPhone then it propagates to my Mac's iPhoto along with the iPad (under recent).

If I delete it from the iPhone then it stays on the other devices.

This is clogging up all my devices!
 
Figured it out.

You have to delete them out of your deleted folder for it to be deleted off all other devices.

However on iPhoto on the Mac it deletes it from iCloud but not from your Photo library locally. Its a manual job.
