How about this story:
Nameless wants to rejailbreak his 3.0 ipod touch. Forgetting that he has 10.5.7 instead of 10.5.6, he goes and follows the instructions to downgrade his IOUSB files to 10.5.5. Now he gets kernel panics whenever he uses a usb device other than his mouse and ipod, and cannot download the 10.5.7 IOSUB drivers from ADC because he doesn't have high enough clearance. How would he fix this problem?
