Hi! I tried many variants of search terms to see if what I'm looking for has been posted but found nothing. So sorry if this is actually an old question...

I am abroad in France for a few months with my American MBPro and I want to access streaming content from sites like netflix.com, etc. They all say that I can't access content because my IP address is outside the US.

Is there a way I can change this/get around it? Has anyone successfully accessed streaming videos on blocked sites internationally?

Thanks!

You could try configuring your browser to connect through a free US proxy server. Google free proxy and you'll find tonnes of sites that supply these services. Whether they'll work is the question...
