Ip address problems and boxee

my ip address keeps changing and I need to reconfigure boxee(for my apple tv) all the time with the new address, I've been into the settings and am not quite sure what I should be doing, my router is know longer showing although it works off airport???
how do I get my router to reappear and how to I prevent my ip address from changing?????

What you need to do is to enter the settings manually so that you have a static IP address.
