When i do an ip address search it shows i am in the USA when i am in the UK, this causes problems as everything comes up in $ not £ etc
I have googled this but cannot solve the problem, i have checked the time and zone and all seem ok. This happens when i use either wifi or ethernet.
this has only just started in the last few days so any ideas please let me know.

Many thanks

It could be your internet provider is doing something funky. Are you with bt? They have been doing a lot of testing recently that's caused havoc for customers trying to stream sky go etc due to regional issues

No I'm with Sky

I do have a vpn and thought this was the problem so deleted the programme but no joy

It's going to be your Mac not Ido then. Try restoring basic network settings

Go into /Library/Preferences/System Configuration/ and delete:

com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
com.apple.network.identification.plist
com.apple.smb.server.plist
NetworkInterfaces.plist
preferences.plist
