I keep getting an error about IP configuration? How can I fix it?

Enable the DHCP server in your router and configure all the computers to request a dynamic IP address by DHCP.

If you need fixed IP addresses in your internal network, hopefully your router allows DHCP reservation. Then you can allocate some of the IP addresses statically to each of the machines where you need this (by associating their ethernet MAC address to a specific IP address).

In English please :p

haha sorry.

• go into the system preferences
• choose "network"
• on the left column click on your interface you are using (either AirPort for wireless, or ethernet for wired)
• hit the advanced button towards the bottom right of the window
• choose the "TCP/IP" tab.
• where it says "IPv4 Address: " just change that very last number AFTER the dots to something else.
e.g. if it reads 192.168.0.12, change it to 192.168.0.13.

that will be the most simplest way to change it.

Ah thanks, it worked :)
