Hello,

This isn't a question as to whether the battery is draining fast, etc..

General question:

What's the best to keep the battery charged in the phone?

  • When not in transit, is it ok to keep it plugged in?
  • How often should you drain the battery down and perform full cycle charge?
  • My charging habits are so random, I'm not sure what the best route to take is.

I usually leave it unplugged when not in transit. Charge as needed only.

Drain the battery once a month to calibrate.

Initlally, use the phone and charge as needed. If you're constantly on the go or not, you'll know when you'll need to charge and when not to. I personally don't like leaving my phone constantly plugged in since all of the phones I've done this with always wound up having battery issues.

It's always ok to leave it plugged in as long as you want. The phone is smart enough to stop charging when the battery is full and just run off the cord's without using the battery at all.

You should probably let the phone totally die once a month. More than that isn't gonna do anything for you. That probably happens to me once or twice a week without even trying so I never have to think about it.
