ip4 camera freezes when using flash... help?

So every time I go to take a picture either with flash or in auto mode when it decides to use the flash it freezes after the shutter graphic closes and the pic isn't saved. Sometimes the LED lights up, sometime it doesn't, it once even saved a pic! Video camera and photos w/o flash work fine.

Anyone else have this issue? or know a fix? I'm on 4.2.1 with tethered jailbreak btw. TIA

I would suggest unjailbreaking and checking. Sounds purely hardware related to me.
If it goes away after the jailbreak then thats just strange. I highly doubt its anything to do with the jailbreak.

Before trying a restore, what do you have installed?
Grab crash reporter in cydia and find the instructions for it find whats going wrong.(If it can even tell you)
