iP4 downgrade

I have a friend who updated to 6.0 from 4.0 and is not a happy camper. Is it possible to downgrade her to iOS5 by doing a restore then choosing the 5.01 ISPW even if she was never on iOS5?

If she was previously jailbroken and has the 5.1.1 blobs, then yes.

If not, then no.

I'm almost 100% positive that it's not possible.

I'm in the same boat with my iPad 2. I went to iOS6 to see what all the hub-bub was about and would like to go back to 5.1.1. I was even jail broke but like an idiot, forgot to save my 5.1.1 blob off. Still kicking myself over that one.

iOS 6 Jailbreak can't come fast enough.
