iP4 flash brightness, too bright! any mods?

this is not meant to be a negative thread, as i'm extremely happy with my 4 and the fact that it has flash, but has anyone done any modifications to lighten...or darken the flash a little? (markers/cases/covers,etc.)

i just don't want to temporarily blind anyone any more!

Its not too bright, thats how flash is supposed to be.
I saw alot brighter ones.
And no, there's no modification app.

Try putting a little piece of "invisible" Scotch tape over the flash. The vanishing kind, not the shiney clear stuff. You can even try two pieces if you need additional "softening" of the flash. This will greatly reduce the range of the flash but it will soften the light for subjects that are very close.
