syncing apps seems to be getting a lil cluttered. when syncing each device i have to select which apps belong where. there should be a profile for each device so it knows what apps need to be synced. has anyone came up with a good way of not syncing iphone apps on to the ipad?

My solution was to devide the synching for my different devices between my different macs. It was supposed to be a stop gap because it's really inconvenient but no solution found yet.

very inconvenient way apple needs to solve this.. but i will use your advice. thanx for your input

edit: will itunes home sharing put my music on my mini. i will need to sync songs also. but between the 2 devices i sync the same songs... argh this is a pain. but thanx again for your solution.

I'm confused, my wife and I sync 2 iPhones and an iPad on the same PC. No issue as iTunes remembers each device profile. iPad apps that I've chosen sync to the iPad and vice versa. Does it not work like this on Mac?
